Assignment #9

Harvard study on happiness is a long-term project, they spend seventy-five years and through several generations of researchers that this study still in progress, they find seven hundred twenty four men which from different background, some of them are live in good environment and some of them are not, but after seventy-five years , evidence shows that whether you are happy is not about rich or famous but good relationship. This study didn't surprise me because I have same opinion with it, but in my opinion the key of good life is not just relationship, I think pressure is a important factor, if some one have too much pressure they will not happy, so to understand what makes you fill pressure and learn how to release your pressure is a important things.

Q1: Do you procrastinate sometime? A:   yes,I usually procrastinate until deadline, just like what Tim Urban had said. Q2: Why do you procrastinate? A: I think it is because when I have to do something, there will  has a voice say "you can do it later" and I always been convinced. Q3: How to stop procrastinating? A: I also want to know how to get rid of this bad habit!

Assignment #5

Q1: Do you have a smart speaker at home? A: No,this is the first time I heard about it Q2:  What is a smart speaker? A: Smart speaker is a type of voice command device. Q3: How does a smart speaker work? A: Smart speaker have virtual assistant which like Apple's Siri, Microsoft's Cortana,when smart speaker receive particular voice it will  respond corresponding action.

Hyperloop system

    When I listen about new technology I always feel surprise and want to praise how can engineers create some amazing thing. Hyperloop also surprised me because it use vacuum to reduce resistance. It is a cool idea for me but I also think about how to appliance this in reality, here has a question I want to know.  where really need such a high speed to transport something? Hyperloop is too fast to use at a smile place such as Taiwan is a example. Taiwan's HSR can't play it's max speed because Taiwan is too short. This problem will limit Hyperloop only can use at a place which is very broad, and a broad place always haven't too many people and usually very backward which like Mongolia. If Hyperloop use at backward place what kind of  things will be transported? If transport material it must cost so much because material usually is a lot of and don't need too fast. Government intervention to regulate price. 5. vacuum (n) a space that is completely empty of all gas, especially one from which all the air has been taken away.   a situation in which someone or something is missing or lacking.  ex. Her husband's death left a vacuum in her life.
